Today is day one on Fat Smash for me. I don't have the book yet so I'm just going by what is listed on the acceptable food groups phase one information available here. Does anyone have a good recipe or recommendations for a good phase 1 breakfast/dinner? I'm the type of person that doesn't require any food variation to be happy.

For lunch I'll be eating salads with lentils. A little fat free dressing if any. Is balsamic vinegar alright?

I haven't seen many men on here yet (thus not many male results). The results women have been posting on this diet look promising though! I am going to wait until day 9 to weigh in, as has been suggested by some others.

I have the book and I could post a few recipes if you would like. Here is the list of what you can techincally "have" during stage one. All fruits and veggies in any quantity (except white potatoes and avocados) Good sources of protein: Chickpeas, beans, tofu, and lentils 2 cups of cooked brown rice 2 cups of low-fat, skim milk, or soy milk Water Water Water! As much as you like 1 cup of oatmeal 6 oz of low-fat yogurt, twice per day 4 egg whites per day 2 cups of herbal tea per day All herbs and spices I haven't started the diet yet, but I need to. I plan on starting it within a few days. GOOD LUCK!

a good breakfast is an egg white omelet with veggies of your choice! I make mine with 3 egg whites - onions, peppers, tomatoes and salsa on top

For my breakfast, I had plain oatmeal with 2 boiled egg whites or 1 6oz soy yogurt with boiled egg whiles. Dinners, brown rice with basic bean soup always worked for me. I also grilled some some tofu and had it occasionally with my rice. It helps that I really like soy, so all these alternatives worked great for me.
