Just really, really, really NOT feeling motivated lately. Just binged on some sushi. 3 rolls, a salad, and miso soup. Definitely over my calories. I dunno what it is, I am just ravenous all the time. Maybe I should do a very low calorie day to shrink my stomach? At least I've been exercising, although I'm not feeling up to it tonight. I will at least do one workout video.

If you are exercising, and truly burning real calories then your body def wants or needs the fuel. Do you thing you get enough protien w/ your veg diet? As for cal ins vs out. I really think that even if you are eating a diet of 1500 cal but working off 3000 a day you are in a huge deficit, you should only be at about 500. If you are not willing to work out less go ahead and up your calories. Sounds scary I know but its ok as long as you still have the defecit. When I reached pleataue a couple years ago I found that when I stopped working out my deficit was closer or smaller than 500 and the weight dropped! Hate to admit when I stopped working out but I credit the cal deficit more. Even if you eat, you can burn off too much to get into starvation mode w/out realizing it. Aslo, its easy to over estimate (like under estimate)what we eat, we can sometimes think 3 sushi rolls is 2000cal when infact it can be 700 LOL totally just giving an example (i have no clue what they count)! Anyway. Make sure you know the numbers going in, and burning. Its crucial!

Another thing. I've never really looked into the cals that the biggest loser contestants are eating, but something tells me if they are working out 8 hours+ a day... they are not eating 1200 calories!!!

Oh, definitely. Biggest Loser is insane. I know I get enough protein (turns out we don't need as much as we think we do, for example, I only need about 50 grams per day, since I'm not a body builder or anything..) So I don't think protein is a problem. I try the tricks of eating more fiber and protein, drinking lots of water, but it doesn't keep me full. I just have a black hole for a stomach! Lol! Just gotta stick with the healthy habits... I know the number doesn't matter the most, but it sure would be nice if it was cooperating at least a little bit! Gah!
