Kenysb's Journal, 15 December 2015

Wow. I can't believe I have lost another 2 pounds of weight. I have been following my diet plan pretty close, but I am not perfect.
I haven't cheated on foods at all, it has been a drink here or there of vodka. Plus, I love wine...RED WINE. Not the sweet stuff either. Since I adore it I refuse to give it up completely in my life. Which is why I am allowing myself to have some once a week. It just seems unrealistic to completely eliminate the things you love completely. It opens you up to temptation and cheating. No thank you. I would rather be successful than fail all over again.
I did make one change in my habits. I have made the decision to add a super probiotic and a digestive enzyme to my daily ritual. One of the reasons in my past attempts with Atkins I always stopped because my gut began to hurt. I figured, if i fix my gut and my digestive problem in the beginning, then I will be successful.
Who knows...it is all an unknown journey at this point and I am thrilled to be on this ride.
Best of luck everyone!

Wine cannot add to your body fat, simply not enough carbs. Only 4gms per glass of Red Wine. What it will do is to stall fat loss for a couple of hours per glass, as your body will run off of Ethanol, instead of stored fats until the alcohol is processed.....drink up :-)

The Bible mentions that wine is good for the body. I'm not by any means promoting alcoholism or drunkenness, but a glass a day isn't bad.

Lots of documented health benefits to drinking a glass of red wine!

That's all I needed Pastor Jedi,, I don't drink it daily ( anymore) but really get tired of beating myself up over a glass or 2 on the weekends . I will take your word for it :-)

Everyone needs something that makes them feel good. My go to is dark chocolate. As long as you don't go overboard ( and it sounds like you dont) then don't sweat it. Just work that plan.
