Did you read my journal when I said you make my heart smile?? I love today's journal (yours). I've been up late to, and I'm liking it. Some jack ass told me to do vodka and redbull before the 5k (if i did it) that would be bad wings. I'm happy this girl is working out, it takes a while for any family to get use to a newbie. lol skipping the band cause I don't know them, /0, you LIVE in a haunted house. That is a creepy thing for your mom to say, it must have come out wrong. lol She prob really meant to say good/hip compliment :) lol. I too am terrified of thunder, but I think the lightning is beautiful. Rain is awesome, the smell- amazing. This desert doesn't see enough. White contacts and full size bars, I wanna go trick or treat at your house!
I don't get the pirate shoes... thats all. (**devil wears prada voice)

I wasn't sure if you meant me or someone else. LOL I enjoy having that effect on people. Booze is a no-no before a race, but a little bit of caffeine actually helps you run faster (go ahead and have some coffee with creamer). I met my girlfriend for the first time on Talk Like a Pirate Day. She wore skull-and-crossbone Converse shoes.

Aww, you just called her your girlfriend!!! That's so sweet! That's funny you mentioned Talk Like a Pirate Day because I celebrated that day with my boyfriend (before he was my boyfriend) at the Guitar Hero night about a month before we started talking. Ah, so much to comment on. Speaking of haunted houses, we're going to Knott's Scary Farm tomorrow. There's tons of mazes (some in 3-D!) and monsters walking around trying to scare you, and fog machines galore! Some parts are really dark so you don't know what's lurking around. Total mindf--k. What pirate shoes are you referring to? I hate thunder and lightning, but love rain also...not driving in it though. Don't be scared to meet her family. I'm sure they will love you! Why would your family be split on her? Lame. And I loooooved houses like yours that gave away full size candy bars! And uh...that comment from your Ma...no comment. Whew! I'm sure I left something out.

I was up late last night until 2:30 am... I don't like it so much! I want to fall asleep easy. Red bull, um Yum. I love it running through my veins, lol. Sexy shoes, hell yes. Yeah, the mom thing... interesting. Thanks for your wonderful journal. oh and yes, good luck with the girl/parents situation. AND... YOU MUST post some really, really nice photos of yourself for us to judge if you are getting too skinny or not. :)

@FPLala: I'm trying to convince her to go to Thrillvania with me next weekend. LOL I LOVE haunted houses. Some of the family is split because they are rednecks and we don't have the same amount of melanin in our skin. @Deena: Would a dramatically lit pic of me shirtless in jeans and a cowboy hat do? Okay, so I don't really have any of those lying around. I'll have to think of something. It's been a while since I posted new pics.

I honestly think people tell you that you are too skinny because they feel they are too fat. I know that's a bad thing to say but think about it! Thrillvania sounds awesome!!! I hope you convince her to go!! Sucks about your family feeling that way. And thanks for posting those pirate shoes! I want those! Cindy gets on my case because I am ALWAYS wearing Converse! Although I only have red and black ones. I want to get some cool ones like that. : )

White contacts and full-size candy bars...makes me wish I were a kid again. Too bad it's not the 60's - our neighborhood favorite and most frightening was the guy who dressed like a zombie and ladled out dry-iced punch, speaking not a word. (Today, he'd probably be arrested for serving punch.) However, my all-time best Halloween treat memory is from the late 50's when the family across the street had no money for candy: I remember standing in their open doorway, waiting and watching as they baked fresh batches of oatmeal cookies, took them straight from the oven - it was a small house and it seemed to my young vision like the tiny oven was actually in the living room - and dropped them into our brown paper bags. That memory is so sweet...and not just because of the cookies!

LOVE the Converse...cause I can't see the skull and crossbones without my glasses! As for the mom-comment, I don't know 'mom' and I don't get it...but if Zero-son thinks it's creepy, then it is. (Tis the creepy season.) And the only relationship advice I'll offer is this: If you make each other happy, that's all that matters...and if you're feelin it, tell the gossipy family to butt-out.
