I've been on a 1500 calorie/ day diet for more than a week now , and most of the time i eat a lot less than those 1500 calories, vegetables are filling and contain a lot of fiber and vitamins and are low in calories so they are my bestfriends now, I haven't lost a lot of weight yet but i feel so much more energy than i used to and it's definitely showing on my skin
132.3 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 11.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
