D4NIELLE's Journal, 29 February 2024

Here we are.. at that Onderland crossroad again. I hate to get excited about it because of how many times I've crossed this line, swore I would never go back and ended up back over 200lbs. Why is this journey such an overwhelming one?

I think you're doing great dear and I think there's nothing wrong with being excited. I think the hard thing for a lot of people to remember is that once you get to where you're going maintenance is boring. you're going to eat the same proteins, veggies, and carbs and approximately the same amount everyday. you may change the sauces, spices, and preparation techniques but overall you eat the same things most of the time. you're going to do the same approximate amount of activities most of the time forever and that's how most people are successful they keep on keeping on. that's the thing about a lifestyle you got to maintain it and that's why maintenance gets a little boring for some people is whatever you choose to do you got to keep on doing. so I think it's great that you're excited and as long as you can be excited about whatever you're doing 10 years from now you're doing fantastic so why not be happy right? and I think that's why so many people say that this is a journey not a Sprint but I think in many ways it's beautiful right you don't have to always worry about everything because you can just take your time you accidentally mess up one day that's okay if you need to take off Christmas because

life is beautiful and worth living more than being beautiful is what life is about I think that's much more important but that's my personal opinion.

Sorry about all the errors I was trying to hit the edit button and accidentally hit the post button on the first post so I went ahead and just finished it up and posted the second one as well. I use the talk to text function since I have so many vision problems.

Hey I know I mentioned this before; all you can do is your best; and if you’ve done your best then great. If not okay too; you got this and you can do anything you put your mind too.

Thank you Everyone! I'm proud of the work i've been doing just want to keep it off. I think we're all tired of the back and forth. But here's to passing that line and staying away from it in the future. 🥂

Weight management is not just a numbers game; life style, safe sleep and mental health become key ingredients in the recipe; good you possess awareness in the difficulties ahead; fasten the seat belt! Take it easy when you can?

I've been there, too, and crossed that line many times. Since this line, absurd at it is (it's just one number among many on the scale!), looms so much in our minds, try to use moving away from it, deeper into Onederland, as an extra motivation. Mind tricks like these help sometimes. They did help me. Now I see in the distance the Mackinac Bridge of Onderland, the bridge between Upper and Lower Onderland. I hope to cross it this year...
