Official weigh-in today.....Down 2 lbs this week...Doing a happy dance..Ouch!!!..Hurt the knee..I have been losing so slow, but this makes 39 lbs lost since changing my life in March...Wedding reception Luau tomorrow and I know I will not be eating off plan.I do plan on having a few martinis however..
Hubby is going to need surgery on his shoulder,but we are getting another opinion next week before we make any decision.
My 5 year old grand daughter has a tumor in her eye and is probably going to lose her sight in it.It wasn't found in Feb.or in April when she was there.They say it is benign and they can't operate.
Back to prep work and cooking..Final count is 196 people,but we had set for 200.I still have to go to market for fresh lettuce, but everything else is under control.

Nonna - Have 3 comments. (1) First of all Congratulations on the 2 lbs. One more down and you'll be working with even numbers (-40)! (2) I am glad your husband is finally going to get that shoulder taken care of. If I may make a suggestion, please refer him to the latest research that shows pain management aids in healing. Maybe he'll change his mind about the meds if he knows he can get back to work quicker. (3) I still am in shock over your grand daughter. That is a horrible thing for her to have to go through. Thanks Buffy...6 more pounds and I'm halfway to goal..Yipee..I have been doing some research,when I have a little time,for both my hubby and my little Emma.Hubby is retired,but he wants to be pain free and be able to play golf next spring..
