I am married 42 years to the same wonderful man.I have 3 married daughters and five spoiled grandchildren.I have 90 lbs of weight to lose.I just want to get healthy again.

April 24,2013..After getting off plan with all the stress in my family.RE:Daughter getting divorced and moving back in and my dear husband diagnosed with cancer..I have regained 30 lbs from my lowest weight.Today is my new beginning..

Abbie,exactly what icy said...you need at LEAST 1500 calories a day.On induction..shoot for 65-70% fat,25-30% protein and 5-10% carbs,12-15 net carbs from veggies.Have you read the book or done the lessons on the Atkins site?Follow the program to the letter and you will lose.Keep tracking and we will help all we can.

Beautiful gown and I know your daughter will be the most beautiful bride ever(except for my daughters)lol.Seriously I'm happy for you that she found THE DRESS on the first try.Word to the wise...Don't go dress shopping again,order the dress now...

I wish people who have stated they are doing the Atkins diet would either read the new book or go to the atkins wedsite and do the lessons.Mad They asked for help and then when you offer the help,that they asked for, and tell them they have to eat vegatables,they get upset.Question I think some people do want they want,don't follow the program properly,don't lose weight or stall after the water weight loss,and then get mad and wonder why..
This works if you follow the plan and commit to the lifestyle.If its not for you fine, that ok.I hope you find a program that works.But please don't say your following atkins if your not following it properly.
