We got down to South Padre Island in time to watch the fireworks over the Laguna Madre on New Years Eve. We've had some cold windy days that we went up into the Rio Grande Valley to shop around and other beautiful beach days that found me hunting for shells and wading in the Gulf of Mexico. I don't have access to a scale so no clue where my weight is but I know I've had too much awesome Mexican food. Hopefully I haven't done much damage. We are having a great time.
