Starladesiree's Journal, 17 September 2009

I've really gotta get back on track. All the way, not just partially. I had a freaking Big Mac the other day. Ugh! Gross. I haven't exercised in more than a week. I've been feeling a little sick and VERY tired and just lazy.

I don't know where my motivation keeps going. I keep striving for perfection, then when I work my ass off to try to get it, I can't, then that makes me feel crappy and want to give up.

This is such a catch-22! Lol.

I am sooo sick of working full time. My stupid job drains me of any happy feelings. It's like a Dementor from Harry Potter. Hahaha. If I just worked like 30 hours a week instead of 40... I dunno. I doubt I could afford to live if I went part time instead of full time.

If you start playing the Powerball lotto I'll cross my fingers for ya'. Though it hasn't done my roommate any good. LOL Have you ever considered a career change? It's something I'm trying to figure out for myself right now. My job is also one helluva dementor.

Yeah, I just don't really know what I want to do. And even if I did, I'm not sure I could afford it. I mean, school costs money, and I don't have any extra money to pay for school without working full time while I'm going. Lol.

There is always financial aid. My husband decided to go back to school and we basically live off of it right now. I am a stay home mommy and he works full time BUT to get anywhere with auto mechanics you must have experience (to even get certified). So he had to take an entry level job. He gets enough financial aid to pay for all his classes, books, and then we have enough left over that we pay our rent ahead until the next aid comes in. He does take some loans but most of it is grants. It will be worth it when he is done and makes 30 bucks an hour or something (and doing something he loves). YOu could look into that. I have also found for myself... when i start being lazy and laying around and eating poorly... i feel horrible. The more I lay around the less motivation i have. Intertia is the law that says an object at rest has a tendency to stay at rest. If I kick myself in the tail and get up to workout or do anything for a couple days I find my energy all comes back and its easier to eat healthy (ticks me off when I blow my workout cause I ate a big mac LOL)

Instead of one full time job, why not two part time jobs? I did this for 2 years and loved it! I worked as a para (like a teachers aid) in a school, and then did worked part time at the nursing home. I really liked it. And I agree with aletheab, school is always an option! Financial aid is great.

hey!! this is your pocket talking: its the food. Big, fat, unhealthy foods bring on negative side affects I swear!! lol So clean up your eating, and you will start feeling refreshed, add in a little time here and there at the gym and that will add on to feeling like a winner.. you remember that feeling doncha!?!? THEN learn to leave your work problems at work, get home and enjoy your life, that should make it a bit easier to return there, hope you do figure things out though! :D
