Happy Monday! It's kind of like fall here today, only supposed to get into the low 70's and gloomy. I'm not going to complain though, I'm ready for fall. :)

I recorded a little bit of a gain from last week, but I know why I gained, I didn't do well with my evening snacking last week, so that gives me something to work on this week. I did get my jar salads made for the week, so I have no excuse not to eat well for lunch. Dinner is still going to be my main issue this week, but I'm going to work on moderation with some of the foods that aren't so good and I need to learn to just say no to second helpings.

I did well with exercise last week. I only took 2 days as rest days and the other days I did at least 30 mins and a few days I also went for walks in the evenings. Saturday I was feeling exhausted and I had a migraine, so I ended up sleeping the afternoon away on the couch, but I needed it and I slept all night too, so I knew my body needed the rest.

Today I head to the doc to discuss endometriosis and other issues related to TOM (like migraines). That won't be fun because those topics make me really uncomfortable, but I need to get some things figured out. Hopefully she'll have some helpful hints at least for me because right now I'm missing work at least 1 day a month due to my issues. No more!! Sometimes being a woman is rough!

Today is the official start of a couple of college classes too, so I'd better get them started. I'm going to read while my daughter is at volleyball practice tonight, I'll only have about 20 mins, but at least I can use that time wisely. I love taking classes and learning, but I get burnt out really quickly too, so hopefully I'll be ready to take a couple more classes next semester. I have never gotten my Associates and that is a big goal for me right now. I'd love to have it done before my daughter graduates high school.

Enough about me for today. I hope everyone has a great Monday!!

EDIT: Back from the doc and she's going to remove my IUD. She said my hormones are just out of whack and probably some endometriosis. So, back on Depo shot and see if that helps in the next 3 months. She said no BC pills because of the stroke risk and my history of migraines and family history of stroke. Hopefully I'll start feeling better with the shot. She said if I don't get better we can think about a permanent fix like hysterectomy, but being so young it has it's own risks and side effects that may be worse. I'm going to try and hold that off as long as I can.

Starting classes, how exciting! What are you going for a degree in? I'm glad you talked to your doctor and have started on a general plan to help ease your symptoms. I have an implant in now that will need removed in October, and I think I will go with the Depo as well. I hope you find some relief!! Have a wonderful evening :)

Yo- I'm taking a couple of business classes. I have taken classes numerous times but only do 1 or 2 a semester due to financial or time constraints. It's going to take me some time still because I couldn't decide what I wanted to be when I grew up, and now I'm grown up and still don't know for sure. :) I enjoy what I'm doing now though and feel like a business degree plus experience in an office setting can only help my chances for a better job later.
