Melissa are these your horses or do you go to a stable and “borrow”? I so miss my horse(s) from when i was younger. We have talked about my getting another horse but just doesn’t seem practical. What city is this in? I know we live within on hour or so of each other. 

Thank you, everyone! It was a nice day. Thank you for your kind words! This mare is a NRHA champion, and her yearling, blond baby, seen with my daughter is headed for the Oklahoma reining futurity in a couple years! I rarely have time to ride, since I'm so busy. The horses are owned by a trainer with whom I used to work. We are still very good friends, and I I have the freedom to ride when I want. I would love to fit it in more often. I'm going to try! YOH, the property is near Snohomish. Princess, It is fun to be known!! ❤️

Wow a reining horse that must be so much fun!!! Do you practice with her? Or just pleasure? She’s very pretty and so is her yearling. You have the best of both worlds!!! Pleasure of a horse without all the responsibility if you want to go away!!!!!! Lucky girl. Thanks so much for the photos it was the best thing I’ve seen in days! 

YOH, yes, it is a blessing to have no vet, or feed bills!  

Diana, I am sorry you have never ridden. Still time! I've ridden my whole life... but not much the last 15 to 18 years. I was breaking a filly and working with several others horses when I found out I was pregnant with this daughter. That was a long, morning sick summer 23 years ago. Hahah! I got the early training done on the youngster and managed three shows with her before I quit to focus on growing a baby. 😁 

Love this!!! These pics brought back some really good childhood memories for me. The kids in my neighborhood all had horses (we did not). One of them had an elderly horse named Traveller that they would saddle up so I could join. We had to ride along a busy road to get to the trails, and that old man wouldn't even flinch when cars drove by at 50 mph. He was such a good boy and just followed the other horses. Thanks so much for sharing!

Thanks, guys! It really was a lovely time and especially fun for me to spend some extra time with this girl. She isn't usually a fan of horses, but little Sammy caught her heart! It was cute to see her loving on him!  

I love to ride equines. Always have SCS at 65 I always will! 🐎🐎
