Thanks for the article. I had forgotten how good it was for you, I used to take it on a daily basis but forgot why. There is a recipe out there for Muffin in a Minute, it's an Atkins diet recipe but we eat it sometimes anyway because its a muffin that's good for you. It can be made plain of with a whole teaspoon of cinnamon in it.

Love cinnamon. Have it in my coffee every morning. It also helps arthritis, and know first hand that's true. Glad you posted the article...

I will make cinnamon buns this Christmas. I will make a batch... extra sugar, extra cinnamon, drizzled with syrup... I'll take them to work and have one. Honest!

I love cinnamon, I take a capsule every day. Just make you get Ceylon cinnamon and not Cassia cinnamon, which comes from a different plant called Cinnamomum Cassia. Big difference.

Right the cassia is a different plant and is often substituted as flavoring as it is cheaper.

I was reading about that. The cassia plant is often called ba$#ard cinnamon and can be hard on the liver for anyone with liver issues.

It has more of coumarin which can be toxic in certain amounts. True cinnamon has a trace amount, not enough to be toxic. For occasional use cassia cinnamon is okay but it also does not taste as good.
