Good day today. Woke up to a great morning, with all restored with my world, and happy to see weight stayed the same despite the high carbs from yesterday (lentil soup, 1 large white pita, 2 servings of hummus; coffee with cream, and an icecream made from a science expt!). Haven't worked out since last Monday! (yeah, yeah, Marybeth has probably kicked my butt, but I'll write this off to a gracious loss to allow MB to get back on track with her workout ;) I'm so altruistic! lol! ok, ok, don't say anything, I know, I know!!
Today was my fast-day. Lisa's joined me in this segment of the challenge too..so it's gettin' heated!! She is so darn perfect with her diet!!! Doesn't even THINK of food, let alone inhale, or salivate after it!! Darn anorexic teenagers! (ok, she'll have my goat if she heard me call her that!! Lol! I sure do have a death wish sometimes!)
Kidding aside, it's wonderful to have this challenge. Inspiring that someone can be so dedicated to their goal--something all of us on FS could learn from when we do this yo-yo, half-hearted dieting! I'm gonna try to get back in the game---and UP THE ANTE!!!! 130 pds here I come!!!!!!!!!!
To that end, I'm not gonna break my fast and do late night eating on the two days of my fasting...it's goign to have to be sans food all day and night! Only coffee and chewing gum!! Unlike other days of fasting when I feel starved and depleted of energy by the evening, today was different. I got a large coffee at starbucks and went on to my gym around 6 pm, and though my swing dance demo class was rescheduled, and I was late and missed my hip hop demo, I ended up doing my own gym routine for 2 hours, and felt great!!!
Did the following: Weights: Bicep curls on bozy ball: 3 sets, 10 pds, 20 reps each bicep curls--hold with one hand and curl the other: 10 pds, 15 reps, 2 sets Tricep extensions: 5-8 pds, 3 sets, 15 reps shoulders front and sides: 3 sets each, 5-10 pds, 15 reps each side chest: 4 sets, 15 reps, 30-15 pds Abs: bicyles: 25 reps, 3 sets woodchopper: 15 reps, 2 sets, side planks: held 5 on each side cardio: 20 mins on treadmill; total of 6.5 mins of running; 1st mile in 12.35 secs. 10 mins on crosstrainer ramp machine
Have a full schedule of classes (my own and 3 at the gym!). Looking forward to it all... p.s: i enjoyed checking out my reflection in the gym mirrors a lot today! ;) kept looking for definition in my arms, chest, and smaller stomach...can't wait to get flatter abs, and ripped arms!
