Hi Everyone! I'm just checking in to see how you're all doing and if you miss me! I KNOW YOU DO!!! LOL
08WILLBEGREAT is visiting me (DRIVING ME RAMPANT, ACTUALLY!) right now, which is why I'm not keeping up too well on the journaling! the great news is that have not tried to strangle her at all! She really has the right idea for a vacation! You should hear what she says to me! "FEED ME, I'M HUNGRY! DO MY LAUNDRY! CAN YOU GET ME A NAPKIN? WHERE DOES THIS GO? CAN YOU PUT IT THERE FOR ME?
So, then on our agenda I planned to teach her how to swim in my pool. It was lots of trial and error before she found her sea legs! I don't think we ever had more fun! We had lots of laughs, mostly at her being so exxaggerative!! She was so sure she was going to drown in 2 feet of water, that she kept reminding anyone that would listen, about how she was about to drown!! After she proved that she could stand successfully in 2 feet of water, I felt it was safe enough to lie on the edge of the pool in the sun and just watch her learn her baby steps, and for my good deed, I GOT A SUNBURN! so now i'm walking around looking like Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer!
we fight just like sisters, and my hubby seems appalled half the time by what I say to her in self defense! He NEVER hears what she says to me, for God's sake!) NO FAIR!!
So while I'm grounded for my bad behavior, she's over there sneering at me!
SERIOUSLY....we have had tons of fun! we've done lots of things so far, like out to dinner, bowling, swimming, biking, shopping, drinking, dancing...and there's still alot more to come! WE are going wine tasting, having a house party on Saturday, golfing, movies, date night with my hubby, more shopping in a quaint little town nearby...and what else? um...can't think!
