Happy Hump Day!
Chance of rain this afternoon so I grabbed my black rain coat. As I carried in into the office I glanced down and saw a nice patch of yellow cat fur. What is it with cats that if you lay something down on a chair for 2 minutes they feel the need to lay on it?

LOL They seem to notice anything new in the room, even for a second, and have to lay on it

LOL...Buffy, Cats have a LOT in common with Toddlers...
I.e. "if you lay it down & I like it...lt's MINE!!!"

STT - Oh yes. And when I try to reclaim an item all claws go into it. Perpetual 4 legged toddlers is what they are.

Yolanda - They do believe that. I have one that insists on staying in "his spot" when I try to make the bed. Have learned over the years to just make the bed over him. Of course, it is DH's cat so he thinks this is just hilarious.

lol I know what you mean Buffy! I have now taken to NOT wearing anything black or dark colored. It shows the cat hair too much! I keep a sticky roller right by the front door, so that when we go anywhere, we can do a quick brush off!! The hubby seems to think that he can throw a shirt in the drier and get rid of it, but I keep telling him that that just doesn't work! The minute he comes home, everyone is at the door waiting for him, and if he sits on the couch, oh well, covered in cats! lol! I tell him we are the luckiest people to belong to these cats! :)

No cats anymore but my pup does the same thing. LOl they have to claim everything.
