Jillian04's Journal, 07 July 2011

So, I've been avoiding fatsecret. Intentionally and untentionally. I've been crazy busy with school and am only now getting back into a slightly regular routine. I actually dropped a class for my sanity and believe that this term will be fairly easy. I'm working on a stats midterm this week but other than that I don't have much to worry about until finals!
I started drinking again and once that happened my diet went down the tube almost immediately. So I've decided to take action and quit drinking forever! This will be hard since alcohol has been a huge part of my life but I'm starting to realise that I'm not responsible with my consumption and not only is it affecting my health but also my personal life. I know this will be a hard journey but it is a necessary one.
Since I've taken action on quitting drinking; I decided that now is a good time to also focus on this weight that has crept right back on- opps. I've taken up counting calories again and have to work on adjusting somethings so my fat isn't so high but for now one step in the right direction is fine by me. Over the next few weeks I plan on incorporating some exercise again since I have fallen off.
I hope all my buddies didn't fall in the same summer rut I have. Best of luck to everyone!

Good to see you back! Wow, props on the giving up drinking forever!!! I gave up binge drinking a while ago - I only have a glass or two of wine maybe once every two weeks. It saves calories and hangovers - two things I don't miss!!!!! You'll be back on track soon girlie!!

I agree. My bf and I gave up drinking due to some personal reasons for him. However, we enjoy our time together so much more (plus we remember it!) Also, the calories saved really helps and I might be the most worthless hungover person every to walk this earth! I do not miss the hangovers! But I'm sure you can jump right back on track!
