AlgaeGirl's Journal, 30 July 2009

Haven't been online much lately due to the fact that my computer has been a bit slow and my internet has been loopy as well. My boyfriend checked some things out and seems to have solved the problem by swapping out my secondary external drive for a newer one.

So I'm back online!

It's a small shift down, but right now, I'll take it!

Popped my knee out a few days ago, but it popped right back in. It's been clicking, but it seems fine. To be on the safe side, I haven't really been pushing myself as hard as I would like. Once it stops making noise, I'm going to get moving, hardcore!

I know I might sound crazy, but the weather here has been so insane - and overcast, cloudy days make me nuts! Maybe it will rain, maybe it won't, some hard rain for an hour and then overcast. I don't mind being outside in wet weather, if I'm prepared for it. However, the sun is finally here for the rest of the weekend and I mean to enjoy it to the fullest!

We must have weather link...twice this week I had rides planned and started and then the weather turned sketchy...I am fine when I am prepped for it but when it happens in the middle of a ride it throws me off. I'll sit in a coffee shop thinking "Should I go back out?" The worst part of these last two is while I hemmed and hawed and it both cases ditched portions of my rides...THE WEATHER NEVER MATERIALIZED. Sorry about the knee...bring it back slowly. I am dealing with some blistering from new bike bibs...which wouldn't bother me normally but with my tour only 3 weeks away I am like "Why now?" But I am sure it will be fine by ride time....Enjoy the weekend.
