OK so I survived two days on plan while at the beach. Not bad - but I couldn't resist the Anniversary cake and birthday cake. That would have been ok if I got right back on plan...but NO I ran with it!! Not proud of my actions - only shows I haven't learned how to control the desire for bad food. And yes I feel bad from eating all the junk - my mind is controlled by all the carb cravings. So it is time to get back on track before I do any more damage!! Plan on taking all the junk over to Moms in the morning!!

JUST REMEMBER - HOW GOOD YOU FELT WHILE ON PLAN! REMEMBER ALL THE WONDERFUL COMMENTS ON HOW GOOD YOU LOOK AND HOW AMAZED EVERYONE WAS!! LOOK AT THE PHOTOS FROM THE WEEKEND AND ADMIRE WHAT YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED!! I KNOW IT ISN'T EASY TO ACCEPT CHANGE AND FOR YOU TO SEE IT - BUT YOU HAVE DONE AN AWESOME JOB!! NOW GET BACK ON PLAN AND FINISH THIS!! FOOD IS NOT WORTH IT AND IT HAS NO CONTROL OVER YOU..UNLESS YOU LET IT!!!!!!!!!

Taking the junk food to your mom's is an amazing step in the right direction. As someone who has been on and off the Atkins wagon more than once, getting over the mental cravings can be the worst. I have an extremely thin and well built husband who can eat anything his heart desires and still remains healthy and in shape so watching him down cherry cheesecake and mashed potatoes with bacon and swiss makes my mouth water but I know that once I have accomplished my goal, I'll be healthy and able to have a little bit of this and that with him. Knowing you made a mistake and moving forward is the best thing you can do. Congrats to you!!!
