Tomorrow after work my boyfriend and I are taking the free trial MMA class. Yesterday he was going through his gear for the classes. I was surprised how much stuff he actually had. He did train for about 3 years. He seems pretty excited to go but worried that "its not the right time" He gets tried at work. But he also feeds his body crap for the most part. I am hoping he gets hooked on these classes again and we can go every week

Haha yes it is Mixed Martial Arts. The school we are going to also has Krav Maga, Boxing, Cardio Kick Boxing, Karate, and BJJ. After the class I want to sign up and train train train. Not only will I workout and get really fit but I will be learning a skill at the same time. I think this will keep me motivated because I don't see any great skills lifting a dumbbell my whole life...

Don't get me wrong..I do love lifting because each time I go to the gym to lift, I see that I am stronger and that is a huge motivator. Plus I am normally the only girl in the gym really lifting and using the machines in the weight area. So its fun for me. But on the other hand, I would love to participate in an activity that is fun but also is a killer workout, so it doesn't feel like the same grind in the gym each day.
