Hope you're doing well on your weight loss journey. I've been very focused and haven't cheated for almost a month. I'm trying to reach O carbs though its super tough for me cause I use a lot of spices and the carbs creep in. I've upped my protein, and lowered my fat quite a bit. But interestingly enough as I upped my protein, my fat grams stayed close to even with protein, so there is not a need to supplement fat yet. I'm 202.6 lbs. I'm still hovering above my first big goal.. 199. Taking quite a while. I'm in it for the long haul... excited. I am close to half way to goal. I think its going to take me an additional two years to reach my goal :(.. bummer.

AFr out that's impressive, two years isn't long in the scheme of things, the longer it takes to come off the less likley it is to sneak back. 0 carbs sounds intense, I can't imagine summer without watermelon. Good luck!

Low fat and low carbs? protein is great but eventually if there is more than we need, it will metabolize as glucose in the liver...that can turn to sugar, and be like carbs. good luck with your plan. I am so happy you are approaching 199 !

Thanks HCB. I was consuming just 50 grams of protein, I've doubled it which I think is not too much. My fat is balancing almost equal with the protein, so its not low fat... looking forward to seeing these few milestone lbs go away. I long to see 100 something..
