Me, feeling good today. Part of my journey is feeling good about myself.

I'm terrified of people cutting my hair, too many total disasters. Last time my regular person cut my hair really really short, it has taken since October to get to needing to be cut!!! I decided to give her one more chance. Told her why I had not been in, she was amazed at the unevenness of her last haircut and how short she had cut it. I now have a good haircut, she is usually pretty good. hopefully that will continue. I was stressing on how to tell her that her last haircut was awful, she is a nice person and usually cuts my hair well.

Exercise off and on small weights, trampoline, and kettle balls. Kitchen is slowly getting ready to paint. 2nd pair of not gramma sneakers arrived, ordered 6 pair of leggings for $25,00 no shipping. Working with Miss Jazzy pup on some new commands and she is doing well, she thinks it's fun. In all a good day.

The world is a brighter place when you feel good about yourself. I am glad you got your laughs in today listening to our antics. I get the impression that you don't get all that many in. Many more good days for you!

Nichol, I do I laugh a lot, not at those here unless it's funny. Probably doesn't come through here. This site has dragged me/challenged me though a lot of UPS and downs, and soul searching to get to this happy, content space in my life. It“s all good. I live alone with a belligerent 7oz parrot and an insane Boston terrier mix puppy, they are hysterical. I have family and friends not too far away, a couple nearby friends but they mostly have spouses. One of these days I will find a good man who won't go crazy on me to spend time with. No stress re: that, but it would be fun.

Yes I stress sbout getting my hair cut too. I have had many bad cuts in my day. I guess I have that kind of hair. :/

me too. A good cut, don't have to mess with it much. Not a good one a nightmare!! Getting my haircut is not usually an enjoyable experience like it is for many.

I have thin flat straight hair. Always wished for a fuller head with a little natural wave!!!!! I like a cut with layers. I will use a curling iron to make it seem fuller with some curl. I absolutely NEVER EVER go out of my house without curling my hair!!!! My hair holds me hostage!!!! :(

PRose, I'm blessed with thick hair with natural wave, I wash it add some coconut oil use a brush and a pick and I'm on my way. Curling it is hopeless it does what it wants. I do not choose to spend time messing with my hair.

PinkRose I always wanted flat straight hair that I could braid. My hair is so thick and wavy it ends up looking like a rope that has seen about 10 too many trips into the ocean.

laughing mine used to do that when it was long, so heavy it gave me headaches.

Gawd I used to sit on mine, a long curly tangled mess all the time. Thank god other people used to help me with it. I chopped half of it off on my 30th birthday, several more inches last year for my 50th. And its still a pain in the patooty at "medium length". The grass is always greener, eh?

Take some Biotin to promote hair growth. It did wonders on my hair growing back after chemo.

Hair doesn't grow out evenly ... it may have been an uneven haircut but hair also doesn't grow out evenly either... the follicles all are individual. Glad you gave her a second chance and it worked out well!! Our hair is our "halo" :)

I figure most of the time I look somewhere between a sheep and Einstein. If I actually put product in it and it's windy, I catch of glimpse of myself in a window I have a Medusa thing going on. dayberndt thanks for the tip about Biotin. I'm going to try that. It takes forever for my hair to grow.

Just be aware that it promotes ALL hair growth, so you'll have to be more active when it comes to tweezing your eyebrows, waxing your moustache and shaving your legs. But it's worth it for beautiful hair, and once you get the hair you want you can drop the Biotin. Also, make sure you go on a high dosage. you can find Biotin very cheaply at Puritan's Pride online (shipping is free) right now I looked and they have a deal on the 5000mcg/60 capsules one, 2 bottles for $5.99 or 5 bottles for $11.98. That is a perfect dosage (one a day) to boost your hair growth.

Oh lord, I already carry tweezers in my pocket everywhere I go. Maybe I will have to rethink this, that or start braiding my chin hairs. lol
