Blah. So I feel horrible about having icre cream. I only have 4 carbs left for my under 50 net carbs. I usually try to keep my total carbs under 50. I was on the scale today and it was a lb higher. I know it's my TOM but i still didn't like seeing that lb. I won't eat anything else bad today. I'm still within my cals so at least that's good. the ice cream was sugar free but it was still ice cream. Tuesday isn't a treat day. I'm not thinking clearly. I can't shake this freakin migraine and none of my meds are working. At least I didn't go for the chocolate I guess. I feel so bad reading everyones journals because everyone is doing so good. eating right, working out. I'm just a big lump laying in bed. blah. bad day. =(

Girl, that doesn't mean it's easy. I am jonesin' for sugar big time today but I'm not carbing up until Saturday so I have to suck it up. I already know I'll be spending the rest of my day trying to distract myself from going & pouring myself a bowl of cereal. Some days are just...days. We'll both get through this one. :D

I am having the same kind of day. I ate a huge lunch and then I submitted to a Hershey's bar... king size at that! LOL! It's just another day to dust off. Wake up tomorrow and start over. Easy as that. You will work through it as I will.

I think we all have those days. If you go over your 50 net carbs remember tomorrow is a new day and do better.

totally.. I had MEGA challenges yesterday and totally ate a bunch of junk. back on track today. Just do the best you can for the rest of the day. Even if you have to pretend like icre cream didn't happen to stay on track. add it back in after your day is done. It will make you feel better to stick with it the rest of the day. you can do it!:)

Do not weight yourself during this time :) I can gain up to 9lbs of water weight. So I do not even touch the scale it just plays with your mind and your emotions. Sugar free ice cream :) I think that was ok. Don't make too big a deal out of it. We all "cave in" sometimes. And that is ok :) And you still stayed under your calories (don't be afraid to eat a few more btw, you could be risking going into starvation mode and not burning fat but muscle). I hope you feel better soon!

Hi HerS! Well done on your weight loss so far.. TOM can be havoc making to the weight but don't let it discourage you, your loss will show up again soon. Can anyone explain the whole net carbs thing to me? I.e. on my Calorie Counter app on my phone, it shows carbs, too... so what is a good low to moderate level of carbs? Is that why you are going for 50g? I wanted to cut my carbs but just don't know a sensible level to aim for as have always done just calories... Hope you are feeling better soon, you can do it, you can get over the Hormone Hump Days!! xx

@Jennifer~ Yeah, no scale for me. I'm a little better today. yesterday just sucked. On top of migraine pain and cramp pain I had stomach issues. It truly was just an all around SUCKY day. Today I feel a little better. I'm going to try to work out and just do some other things I had wanted to get done yesterday. Thank you for the post! @Tessa~ Carbs and net carbs. I honestly don't know if I truly 'believe' the whols 'net carbs' thing. That is why i try to keep my overall carbs around 50. The reason i try to keep it below that # is sugar and starch are bad for my body. My body really responds to protien. It's different to everyone. You get the net carbs of something when you minus the fibar from the total carb content. Like 20 carbs - 10 fiber = 10 net carbs. If you are thinking about trying the low carb thing, try atkins. They don't focus as much on the cals as they do the carbs. Lots of veggies too. I have issues with veggies as I don't like lots of them. I'm trying to find new ways to eat them though. Just try out some things and see what works for you. Lot's of people on here are very knowledgable about nutrition, carbs and cals and all of that. Thank you for your post
