Today is a better day. Migraine isn't as bad. I still have it, but it's nothing like the 2 previous days. I'm trying to get motivated today. I did some marching that a FS buddy recommended to get my muscles and metabolism going. I have done 500 with arms so far. i feel kind of silly doing it, but it's SOMETHING. I'm also going to do my workout dvd I bought over the weekend. I got the dvd at a sports store and it was recommended due to my ..ummm....lack of exercise in the last 2 years. I think i got a whimpy one though. I mean, I know I'm not going to be able to get out there and kill the 30 day shred but I also want something that is going to challenge me. i guess anything is better then nothing. I just know I need to do SOMETHING. the person who recommended it stated they were a trainor and due to my lack of basically everything and my weight i need to start out at a lower level. Does this sound right? I mean, the peeps on TBL just get in there and DO IT. Jillian and Bob don't hold back. But I'm also not being monitored by a dr so I don't know. i will do it and see what happens. I'm actually excited to start it. I hope that lasts.

Good for you!! BABY STEPS are good too...as long as you are pushing forward! And my word of caution to Biggest Loser...like you mentioned...they are under the supervision of doctors, they're calories are cut to a ridiculously low level, and they are working out ALL DAY LONG! That being said...in the real world, you cannot and should not lose weight like they do on the show. ;) Take it slow and work into it...you'll get there! And there is NO "I hope it lasts" this WILL LAST!! Start slow with your "wimpy" dvd as you call it and work yourself up. YOU CAN AND YOU WILL DO THIS! Make sure you have good shoes if you don't already and don't be too hard on yourself...you're making progress and you're moving forward! **CHEERS**

Thank you! I know TBL is so completely UNrealistic, I mean, who can work out 8 hrs a day? I used to watch that show until a few years back it was the start of a new season and Jillian and Bob were watching the new contestants secretly work out and they were making fun of how big they are. Now, I'm all for pushing someone to reach their hidden potential and all that...i just thought it was really mean to be making fun of them. I stopped watching the show after that. Making fun of someone is NOT going to help them lose weight and get healthy. Not for me anyway. They talk all this crap about wanting to help the american obiesity problem yet they make fun of them. Not cool in my book. Anyway, just my humble opinion. Thank you so much for the encouragement. I'm going to go do the dvd right now before it gets to hot in my living room. =)

Look up "I used To Be fat" a show about teenagers that want to loose weight over the summer before they go to collage. Only 1 of the "kids" that did it did not do very well. It's really motivational. When I started on my gazelle I could do 10 min...I wanted to make fun of myself. But I did not want to hurt myself, so I pushed for 1 min more every 2 days. Now I can do a full kids movie ex Alpha and Omega (they are fun to workout too), and totally proud of myself. You can push yourself, the video is a guide, if next time or the next few times after you get used to what they are asking you to do...feel free to move a little faster, reach a little farther, and you will get there.
