Today I will do my yard work. Heat index will be 99 so probably best to do it soon. Took Jack on a different part of my trail. No groundhogs. No streams of water. Practicing letting him off his leash and calling him back to me. He did great yesterday. And the verdict is in... my sleep sucks. I now lay awake on a mattress that feels like clouds. Could've saved lots of money. Still worth it for the hubs.

Sorry you’re having sleep issues. My only advice is keep your eyes shut. The only aid I use (rarely) is 200 mg of 5-http.

As a fellow non-sleeper, (and I may have told you this before) I find that a cup of green tea with a little honey seems to help me go back to sleep. Stay safe working in that heat today!

After a sleep study it was recommended to me to try and prep for bed in the same way every night No computer screens, no eating, no TV in the bedroom, shower, cooler temps etc. it seems to have helped me. Also vigorous exercise just before bed can leave some adrenaline in your blood stream. Sleep well DP!

wow!!! DP we have the sleep number bed it's great for me and my back, but not so much for my hubby, we could have saved a ton of money also. its just not fair.

DP, I laughed and laughed!!!😆 I think our bed is very comfortable at home, but I don’t get much sleep because I’m interested in so much I want to stay up and read or do stuff. I only have myself to blame as I have no self discipline. My husband has a set time he takes a shower and goes to bed, like 66Pack states, but I never follow suit. 😞 I always suffer the next day. I need a mom to tell me to go to bed!😊 Try counting sheep, but that might keep Jack up.😆
