Seem to be stuck at this weight. I've been in this range for about a week. I've gotten my carbs down, maybe I need to work next on my fat intake. Does anyone know how much fat grams per day is normal?

I am not sure. I will look up how many fat grams you are supposed to eat to lose weight and I will get back to you in a minute.

Okay I just found out that if you eat 1200 calories a day, your fat grams should not total more than 40 grams. I went to dietician.com and they have a calculator where you put in your weight and height and how much activity you do then it figures up your right BMI and weight. It says that according to the Food Pyramid your calories should be distributed like this: Fat 30% Protein 20% and Carbs 50%. But if you are on a low carb high protein diet, it will be different I guess. Try to eat lower fat protein choices maybe like baked fish, chicken w/out skin, egg whites. That is what I am trying anyway. It seems to be working.

My personal trainer recommended that if I am trying to loose, I should not go over 25g per day. Its really difficult but I have managed to do it. Good luck!

You might not be eating enough calories either.

For proper nutrition at 1200 calories intake per day you should get 120 grams of protein, 120 carbs and 27 grams of fat per day only and add 3 work outs of 40 minutes each weight training will help you burn the fat and loose weight. if you break down your meals to 5 to 6 small meals a day this will help. eat fruit in the morning for a snack and high protein snacks after 12 only. So it's high carb stuff in the am and after 12 do the high protein I have been taking a nutrition class for 8 weeks now and have lost 10 thanks to new eating habits and I constantly eat every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Thank you greene colleen because that info helps me too. I think that your info makes the most sense. I haven't been eating that way but I am going to start in the morning. I have been eating high carbs at night and haven't been losing since the first 7 days. Thank you so much!
