I'm sad. My entire adult life, I've had pancakes for breakfast one Saturday a month. Today I looked at what that looks like in my food log, and I've realized just how bad that breakfast is. I know there are ways to make it better (whole grain flour, sugar free syrup, etc.), and I've tried and rejected them due to taste, texture, etc.
So I think I'm going to have to abandon a 30+ year-old tradition. I'll miss it, but if it means not having another stroke, and not covering a seat and half when I fly, I think I can believe the sacrifice is worth it.
