I'm dying here! My wife has a habit of telling Tika that the she 'gets that from her' when the dog does something good. Today, Tika got in trouble, and the wife said, "You get that from your biological mother." ROFL

Found another lifting video. Chad. I'll never be the guy from yesterdays video. I aspire to be the guy from todays video. No rush though.

400 pound deadlift.

I bet he could dead way more than that in his heyday. Man, what a beast! Good for him. I haven't done any deadlifts over 185 lbs. since I started cutting, this makes me want to go back to bulking and continue working on my 3 rep max!

Wife is sharp. She knows where to place the blame and when to take the credit. On the 76 year old lifting... holy moly.

That dude from yesterday was CUT - I got mesmerized and looked at one of his abdominal workouts! It was superhuman! full body pull-ups form the bar with his body horizontal! YIKES

It's interesting how he's working his left biceps, and his right triceps. Is that normal?

IC.... noticed that too.

I guess it might put less stress on his back. I wonder if he switches with each set.

IC, CR, The way that he is holding the bar is common practice. If you keep a neutral grip on the bar during heavy deadlifts the bar will tend to rotate in your hands as you come up, in which case if your grip strength is overcome by the weight, you will drop it. The opposing grip is to counter this. The Deadlift uses your entire posterior (calves, hamstrings, glutes, lower back, lats, traps, and spinal erectors, it also uses the whole core for stability) arms do nothing but dead-hang the weight.

The other thing to keep in mind is, you can't work a tricep by pulling anything. Muscles can only contract. It's the location off attachments that make the bones extend or,erm... the opposite of extend. lol
