Had the cyst removed today. My foot doctor was Awesome, and so is his staff. They gave me a valium to help me with my nerves before I got there, BIG help. I was getting sick to my stomach just thinking about them cutting into me. -__- My foot was sprayed with cold numbing spray, then he stuck me twice with needles and put in numbing stuffs. At the needles that valium definitely started wearing off. Reeeeeally hate needles. Then put into a chair with a screen so I couldn't see what they were doing. Then my foot got a turnicate put on it, and the procedure started. I started at the ceiling and the screen the whole time. And yes the pressure and what I could feel from what he was doing was freaky and strange and didn't like it in the least. But at least I wasn't nauseous through the whole thing. But my foot hurts less now than it did before the procedure...but that could be because of the pain killers. lol. Also found a great frozen yogurt place near my doctor's office. :) Modern retro, loads of low cal flavors to choose from, and lots of toppings. Mmmm Mocha flavored frozen yogurt with nuts. Mmm. Can't be beat. I go back in a week to see my doctor, I have to keep the bandages on til then, and not get them wet. And fully planning to re-visit the yogurt shop after my doctor's appointment. On another note, loratab takes away my appetite, so the next few days are going to be interesting. I'll post more tomorrow. Night night FS.

Loratab does the same to me lol. Thank you for posting this as my Dr. brought this up at my last appointment and I am a bit of a chicken when it comes to stuff like this (go figure I can sit through hours of tattoos but cutting into me scares the crap out of me.)

Glad to hear all went well. I was wondering about the status of that foot. Glad you got it done. Hey, I love the new avatar. The curly hair looks great on you, a keeper for sure!! Feel better dear and stay off that darn foot until it heals properly!!

I'm so glad to hear that all is well and everything went according to plan! I'm guessing the most painful part of the whole thing will be not getting the bandages wet! No showers and I'd imagine bathing is going to be interesting! LOL

If you can get a tattoo, this should be pretty easy compared to that. I couldn't see what they were doing, just some weird pressures. You'll be fine. Ask them if they can give you something for nerves if your really freaked out about it. I had a week to think about what was going to happen, so I was pretty freaked out. You can do it Pix. This morning without the meds, it feels like a bee sting. And I'm hobbling around the house a little though. @Babs. :D Thank you Babs! I love my avatar too. lol. Spent a night in curlers to get that effect. My hair normally is perfectly straight, not even a wave in it. Staying off of my foot as much as I can. And taking it nice and easy. @Brandy: Hokepokee showers. ;) You put your right foot in, you leave your left foot out and wrapped in a plastic baggie. You turn the shower on and you wash all around. lol. I'll probably just sit on the edge of the tub, and since my shower is one that has the long hose, I'll just wash my hair using that, and wash cloth and water for the rest of me...I have a feeling I'm going to have a smelly left foot in a week though....not something that pleases me but doctor's orders right?
