Hello! I'm MIA b/c I am in the middle of exams for school. I had one last night. I have 2 more to go. One is a take home that I will do over the weekend and the other is on Monday night. And then I'm DONE for the summer all I have to focus on is getting ready for my baby girl.

My baby shower is going to be on May 21st. My SIL and MIL are having it for me. My mom isn't coming b/c she doesn't like how early it is in the morning (10:30 AM, brunch) and she lives 3 hours away. She also has another party that evening with some of her friends. I feel like my shower should have trumped all other activities, but that is just not the way my mom thinks unfortunately. I have other friends that live just as far or further and they are coming, but my own mother isn't willing to make the sacrifice b/c it is too inconvenient for her. Sigh.

Salem painted the nursery "Hazy Dawn" (yellow) this weekend and put together Sydney's crib. I can't wait til school is over so I can get all the little things for it like letters to spell out her name above the crib and pictures for the walls, etc. I want to go to Home Goods and see what I can find there too for decorations. I'm ready to nest lol!

I can't remember if I wrote in here that Salem got that new job in Center City. His last day working with me here is Friday. I won't be here for his last day b/c I have my 3 hour glucose tolerance test so I took the day off since it is a total of like 4+ hours including my regular OBGYN visit after. I'll miss working w/ him everyday, but I think it's good that since we are both in banking (which is a highly cyclical industry), that we work for different institutions. It will lessen the chance of us both experiencing a layoff at the same time.

I hit the 3rd trimester of my pregnancy this past Sunday. I have 12.5 weeks to go.
