i recently weighed in at a new low of 183 but weighing in at 184-186 for the past week or more it seems like the longest time; know that i'm quite impatient about losing weight as i've been told by other people but just want the fat/weight off i'm at the mid 180's for the longest time again hit a plateau again. won't believe that i can crash through 180 into the 170's but didn't believe i could crash through the 190's but it happened so hopefully it will happen just need to stick to the plan/ why am i so nervous about these numbers? maybe i'm afraid that i'm going to make some crazy excuse to binge, cancel the diet plans for some psychological/self defeating reason; and defeat my self and not stick to the plan. really want to crash the 180's into the 170's. maybe i'm really anxious about seeing my scale numbers hit 170's cant wait just really anxious about wether it is going to happen the weight carries no guarantees. according to my weight graph i still have another 7-14 days to wait to drop below 180. very anxious about it. and would feel defeated/failure if i were to never see the 170's.

Try to relax, stick to your eating plan and it will happen.

thanks for the support. i've been on a normal protein, low carb, low fat, low calorie/ vegetables, no sugar, no oil, no dairy diet have had problems though with the low carb part sometimes meat lean dumplings are irresisitible although they don't have much fat way too many carbs. although i never exceed my calorie restrictions i sometimes feel that the low carb diet is not sustainable and when i do eat more carbs i tend to jump up one pound or so instantly.

Low carb is not for everyone. Some people do well on just restricting calories. Keep trying till you find what works for you. You can do this.

yes good advice thanks. i'll try to experiment a little more with my diet because it is very difficult/not a good idea to follow a rigid diet and tends to make you want to stray from your original diet plan. i've been reading that low carbs is not a healthy sustainable diet and there should be a normal balance between protein, fat, carbs for a long term sustainable reduced calorie diet.

as you can tell i can attribute the weight drops and weight gains and plateaus to carb binging/carb deleting/ and eating foods where i cannnot eliminate the carbs such as dumplings, spaghetti.

Plan the work; work the plan.

i've started a full body weight training program 20 minutes a day 3 times per week at home with a pair of 20lb dumbells, in addition to my tennis workout and every other week( 7 days) 8hrs continous 5 mile walks on my job. i've read that the easiest way to increase bmr and lose fat is to increase muscle mass which increases bmr and helps burn fat.
