I seem to be out of control. My diet/food intake hasn't changed much and I seem to keep gaining weight. I don't know how to change it. I have a drs. appointment on Monday and I'll see what he thinks. I've put on almost 30 lbs.! I can't keep going on like this. I've been thinking Paleo...does anyone have any insights on the plan. I'm not sure I could make that kind of a change.
157.2 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 22.2 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

Paleo works very well for some people - most of the people at the gym I belong to follow it - and they have done VERY well on it (a couple of people over 100 lb. lost). I have tried it three times and it has not worked for me. That being said - the premise is great - you eat as much of you want of non-processed foods (and limit other "natural" carbs) - but when you tell me I can eat as much as I want - I do - and that is why, I think, it didn't work for me. The first few weeks are tough - cutting out the processed foods can be rough - but afterwards I honestly had no cravings for any of it - then it became easier. Again - my problem was how much of the "good foods" I ate:). Good luck.
