Yup. The scale decided to dip. I don't know why it climbed up, nor do I completely understand why it has now decided to dip down but I'll take it. Every little step is a step. Still find myself anxious to get back to where I started in 2009 on Fatsecret but I get obsessive like that about stuff. It's silly really. It means nothing. But sometimes I make meaning where there isn't any. Suppose we all do that from time to time.

It has turned quite chilly here. My nose is cold, as are my toes (perhaps I should be wearing slippers not flip-flops?). Low clouds today. I think we're suppose to get rain. I thought I even heard mention of possible snow showers I think for Sunday but we shall see. DH and I have a date tonight. Tedeschi Trucks Band here we come!!! We're gonna be like grown-ups and spend the night out. Looking forward to it. DH came home frisky early this morning which is a RARE thing these past few years with all the health issues. I'm hoping that means he is feeling better and we can have a nice night out.

Grateful I am for

1. Live MUSIC!!!! The foresight to buy Tedeschi Trucks Band tickets early!!
2. The WEEKEND ... while I do for the most part enjoy my job I am so glad I get a few days off ...
3. My mama ...
4. My best friend just got a job offer ... YAY!!!
5. My dear Blue is still with me ...

Hope the weekend is full of good things and even if it is a challenging weekend that you (and I) are able to still see what we are grateful for. Kindness ... towards myself is always the most challenging for me and therefore a task very worth pursuing. Take care!!
