flaxseed's Journal, 07 May 2009

This has not been a good week so far. Started off getting up late and not being in time to go swimming, so had to walk instead. If I'm not early enough I run into the schools that start coming in before 9 am. I've been sticking to my diet quite well, but the scales are moving in such small steps. I'm starting to get despondent. I've only got 5 weeks before the wedding and for the last few months the loss has slowed down to 1 lb every couple of weeks. I'm not quite sure what to do to speed things up. I'm averaging 1200 calories a day although my food diary shows just under 1000 as I don't put in the milk and the skinny cow chocolate drink I have every day. I allow 250 for this. I don't really count calories on the SB diet and most of my carbs come from fruit and veg. I've found out that bread pasta and rice aren't good for me and I need to keep them to a minimum. I've started walking more and try to swim 3 days a week. I don't have a gym or fitness centre locally and my arthritis means walking and swimming are pretty much all I can do.

OK moan over, at least I'm not gaining, the sun is shining this morning even if it is blowing a gale (50 mph wind),spring has sprung, God's in his heaven and my bit of the world is not a bad place to be.

Have a happy, healthy FS day

Hi flaxseed, I've just returned and intend to catch up with you next week after getting a good rest. You seem to be doing quite well. As always, thank you for your comments.
