So I was looking at my RDI yesterday and wondered if it should be reevaluated since I've lost weight. Sure enough, I had it recalculate and I lost 100 calories per day. So, I've blown my limit the last couple days. Thankfully it didn't hurt me. I'd even lost a couple tenths of a pound this morning. I was just sure I'd gained a pound yesterday (had a business lunch and ate WAY too much pasta!), so I was pleased with the scale this morning. :)

I have a very eventful but fun weekend coming up. I have 4 brothers, and we're all married with kids. Each month we rotate turns hosting dinner for each other. We call them sibling get-togethers. Sometimes the kids are invited, sometimes we take a break from them. It's always a no-kid dinner at my house since 10 adults and 10 kids just do NOT fit in my townhouse. I always really enjoy these dinners. Helps to keep our family close. I'm making baked BBQ chicken, rice pilaf, green beans and salad. With angel food cake, strawberries and whipped cream for dessert. I hope they like it! I'm the baby of my family, so I always feel a little judged by my siblings. I know I'll never be the cook that most of my sister-in-laws are, but I do ok. And half of them don't work, so they have the time for it!

In addition to hosting dinner on Saturday, I'm having my oldest brother who's a contractor come to fix up and paint my two bathrooms next week. So I'll be spackling and scrubbing down walls and base boards all weekend so he has a clean slate. And somewhere in there find time to cut the husby's hair, lol!

that is nice.. we do a baby sitters club.. so this weekend is our turn to host.. so we will have 5 kids here. We do it so we can have our kids be close and so the parents can have a night out knowing their kids are safe and well cared for.. we have been doing it for 2 years this august.. we will gather as a family at least 3 times.. :) we get together alot!

Yup, seems we're both blessed with close families. :) I love your idea of the babysitters club! I need to bring that up on Saturday and see what they all think.
