Feeling great and only really struggling first thing in the AM when I walk the dogs. I have to force myself out the door. By the time I get home, it's another story and I'm fine. I used to have more energy in the AM, but then I would die in the afternoons. Now it's the opposite. And I don't drink coffee, so that won't help.

I had a BLT today without the bread, just used extra lettuce in place of bread. One of my favorite discoveries so far, I even saved it as a food item called "MM BLT no bread".

It's endless shrimp time at Red Lobster and I can have up to 5 servings of shrimp before I use up my carbs on their scampi if I bring my own salad dressing. I think I'll save that for later this week. Not a bad deal for $17.99.

Lost another half a pound. Things are going well and thank you to all for the support and comments.

What I took from that was "Wow!! 18 bucks for ONE MEAL?? That's like 4 days worth of food money for me!" I believe at some point I alluded to the fact that I am, uh, "extremely careful" with my money. Though others have stated it more bluntly, like "He is so tight, if he was a gate, he'd squeak" and "If he was pants, they'd split".

Great that your plan allows for a favorite! I love shrimp. I'll splurge on a bag of frozen jumbo shrimp at TJs occasionally. Hope you enjoy your treat! Five servings at Red Lobster is a lot of shrimp.

I'm impressed. You're dropping consistently. Guess there's something to this hflc diet after all. I'm still doing the dance with it. I need to get my moose this fall.

Thanks to all. Eddie, I don't eat at Red Lobster for lunch and dinner daily. But when endless shrimp scampi comes along drowned in butter and that happens to be allowed and encouraged on my current plan, I'm going to go for it, maybe once or twice a month. It's fine to be frugal. Since I don't smoke or drink, I choose to spend on endless shrimp. There are worse vices. Tight pair of pants - good analogy.
