Excercise has been great, eating- not so great! It's the weekend thing to get me once again. I am feeling way too full after Chinese for dinner tonight. It is not the eating at home, it is dinners out that do it. We go out once a week on Sat night, but it is when we have another set of plans creep up on Friday or Sun too that gets me. No plans tomorrow and I will be eating light!

For exercise today, my workout buddy and I rode our bikes around her neighborhood. We had a nice long ride, but not particularly fast. We rode 57 min. and did 9 miles. 6.33 min/ mile is pretty slow. We really weren't even sweating and we talked the whole time. But it was an enjoyable ride.

That was 6 days of working out this week, and they were good workouts too. Here's an overview from Sun-Sat:
6 miles running total, 64 min.
17 miles biking, 90 min.
1/2 mile swimming, 23 min.
I'm happy with that level of activity. I write down what I do each day in my planner so I can track it.

Fantastic effort on the exercise front! That's a lot of miles! The weekends are the toughest for me, too. It's difficult (and not very appealing!) to live like a hermit and hole up in our homes to insulate ourselves from the tempations of socializing and eating out. But, even though it makes the journey longer, it's the scenic route! Enjoy the view :D

Eating out is definitely tough! I wimped out and just stopped eating out except for where I can get a salad bar. At some point I'll have to trust myself to go out and make decent choices - or at least make peace with a splurge once in awhile! As always, you continue to inspire with your exercise! way to go!
