Woke up this morning to a big painful belly. I'm going to lay off of the sugar-free items this week. When things are sugar-free the sweetness usually comes from something like Splenda or a sugar alcohol. My Russell Stovers sugar-free assorted chocolates are full of sugar alcohol. For some people this causes a laxative effect, but it also can cause bloating and gas. I know the first time I tried sugar-free chocolate I had all three. Lately, things have been good, but I'm noticing that its not so easy to go in the past few days. I'm not constipated yet, but I feel like I'm on my way and maybe my belly is big and painful because I'm gassy and it just hasn't been able to make its way down.

But anyways, although my journal entries don't sound like it. I've been in a positive mood lately. Such an upbeat mood. Its just not coming out in my typing.

Diet Calendar Entry for 22 March 2011:
