Ups and downs. I tried some bulgur this morning. It had driven BG up before and I almost didn't want to try again but I did and followed with a walk and it rose hardly at all. A walk has been shown to keep BG down. Then I felt I really wanted to eat more so had some more protein with blueberries which had been very safe before. Then BG went up nearly 40 points. Drat!

I was able to lose over 40 lbs. with so much less haggling over foods. Though fearing disease is a great motivator, I also feel more nervous about my choices than I ever did so this is a more stressful situation. Stress CAN raise Bg, but I've had plenty of low reasons even feeling the stress so far.

Well, nothing to do but try to be happy that I'm not still eating the worst foods that cause so many of us misery.
