Tan, you have leguminophobia😂 Natto is the infamous fermented beans. I’m not offended at all by you🧚 I happened to remember how people used to shame us Asians for what we ate. Now our food is sort of trendy. I meet people who actually try to tell me I should eat natto, and I just shrug. There was someone here on FS who actually told me to “embrace Japanese food.” People can be so innocently arrogant. I will never forget how they made me feel about my food, one of the reasons why I don’t cook for friends. 

But that was years ago… I just needed to purge the resentment I was carrying. Thank you for listening, Tan🧚🧚 

natto, mmmmm, stringy. not an abomination at all. 

My legume of the week this week is Mayacoba. Wonderfully creamy. I've been logging them as pintos since they're not in the FS datbase. 

You don’t think so? Thank you Gastropod! Did you notice the fresh shiso leaves? I forgot to grow them this year but somehow its seeds went wild last winter and I found these leaves growing in my backyard!  

I heard mayacoba is creamy and buttery😍 Please post your creation, I’m collecting ideas! Yes these food items are hard to log.. I make them up all the time!  

Ah...this takes me back to my school days😋. Is Shiso similar to perilla leaves?

Yeah, a work colleague. She went for a walk and never came home again. 29 is no age to die.

I went through an anime obsessed phase in school🙈 

And a Korean drama phase...I was so angry I wasn't Japanese or Korean for ages😂. Anyway I better head to bed. It's nearly 1am here 😴  

You know he adores you and loves being teased by you, heck he probably goes to the gym just to impress you🤣 Suma, I know you like Greek mythology, Norse mythology and anime. You are full of rich imaginations and you need outlet like that. I think that’s a gift. Remember we talked about underwater mysteries surrounding Ad’s photo? I thought you were brilliant!
