puhpine's Journal, 15 April 2014

Goodmorning soulmate, friends, buddies and readers,

i had a lot of fun yesterday reading journals, responding, mailing and writing my journal and watching responses, so thanks all for giving me a GREAT day.

I gave it my ALL yesterday while spinning, and i like to exercise... i like it when watch myself and i see the sweat tinkling on my arms, i like it when i catch my breath back within 30 seconds, i like the pumped up feeling that exercise gives me. I like listening to my favorite music, and i like watching to a select few guys at the gym and the occasional girl...
I like the way my body changes within months, i am really looking forward to the next work-out, looking for ways to workout more... I feel YOUNG and BEAUTIFUL and ENERGETIC and ACTIVE... who wouldn't want that too???

But this night my body screamed me to a HALT. I woke up this night at maybe 3 o'clock with a bad cramp in my calve... it was so bad a scream left my lips before i was even fully awake, and i was crying out for at least five minutes before the pain subsided leaving me beat and crying in agony in my pillow. When i got out of bed this morning i could hardly stand on my leg. So much for the health of exercise (*lol*)

My hubbie asked me if i drank enough water, because all my macro's where alright yesterday. And he was right (don't tell him this) that i did drink a little less yesterday evening compared to normal. That might explain my phenomenal weigh-in this morning (i expect a weight gain tomorrow, i am very realistic) so i drank a liter water, and the pain is diminishing now.

But the weigh-in WAS 86.1 !!! lowest since ... eh ... ever!!! i am lower now then i was last year! yeah me. lets go out to diner and celebrate ....
NO, kidding... no fancy diners for me anymore...

So whats the BATTLE-plan for today?
- walk out the cramp by walking to horsie.
- work.
- clean house.
- volunteer work at my sons school.
- interact with son.
- train arms, chest and upperback at home.
- please hubbie.
- review and edit book.
- drink lots of water and sleep.

i hope you all have a GOOD day!

Another interesting and extremely positive post and I love it. I have to say Maud you do seem happy these days. I think you know that I have a hang up with negative attitude and the "I can't do club" I just wish they would read your posts which have changed dramatically over the past month or so and lovely to see and read. You also have a good following which is evidence of a positive attitude as in my experience negative posts are avoided by most members, we all like to read happy things. Well done again Maud you are just BRILLIANT (sorry this is my opinion not a compliment)xoxoxoxoxoxox

Thank you for another inspiring post. If you get another cramp try to flex your food so your toes are pointing up to the ceiling while sitting with your legs out in front of you.

Reads as if you are doing everything right! I had a sports therapist tell me once that I needed to eat a daily banana for leg cramps--we called a "charlie horse. :) --for potassium.

Weird thing is that i never b4 in my life ate so much potassium as i am doing right now... Still blame it on water... Btw takes about13 bananas

You may need Magnesium too... to help absorb the Potassium... I think I read that somewhere?

This is great news, meaning the weight loss. Too bad about the muscle cramp.
