One of the best things about FS is the weight history. I really enjoy looking at that graph going down! It is also great to look at the top of the page and see my weight. I am always amazed at seeing it. I remember when I was so excited to get below 200 lbs, now I am almost down to 175 lbs!
175.8 lb Lost so far: 26.2 lb.    Still to go: 39.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Yes unfortunately I changed "my diet" on FS and it started my weight graph all over again. Had I known I wouldn't have done it.

You're doing great. I can't wait until my first number is a 1. So how does it feel to be 17 again (you're in the 17's). And just think only 9 ounces will put you below half-way to the 16's. I'm so proud of you. Never2old

Thanks, everyone! I'm feeling great! I have my doctor checkup one month from now. I hope that my cholesterol will be normal and my doc will cancel my statin pill!

I'm sure your doctor is going to be thrilled with everything that you've accomplished. They're probably even going to ask what you're doing so they can do the same. Keep up the good work, you're doing great.

Cholesterol and statin ... That is a very controversial subject nowadays since many knowlegeable people say cholesterol isn't necessarily bad. The worst type of LDL is the one which ways less and which also contributes less to the numeric value you see in the analysis. The heavier type of LDL, is beneficial but will rise that LDL value much more. This leads to thinking that, taking statin just based on the overall LDL value (which doesn't discriminate between the two types of LDL and even rises more with the beneficial type of LDL) may not be necessary. I've seen this in a documentary on YouTube but it was a long time ago...

Hi Deb - what an impressive graph! Inspiration. I stupidly changed my diet on FS a few times so I seem to be permanently in the red zone.... but I will not change it again and give me time and I'll get to amber and then green. I'd love to see a graph like yours. Keep it up :)

http://tinyurl.com/ogk7qr4 Thank you for the link, Euheide. I'm going to watch some of those videos! My doctor cut my statin in half since I had lost 44 lbs. The doc checks my liver every 3 or 6 months, and I have been ok so far. I'm praying I get off of it next month!

omg, I just noticed. I did reach 175! Next goal 164 lbs. My BMI will change to slightly overweight. :)

Great news Deb. Next check-up the doc is going to take you off the remaining 1/2 and you'll be med-free. I'm so proud of you.

Sorry for the grammatical mistake: Where I wrote "which ways less" I meant to write "which weighs less". I do that sometimes lol. Glad to help Deb! :)
