I was able to have my long Monday workout today. I did:
25 min weights/ toning
35 min run/ little walk combo for a total of 3.14 mi
25 min elliptical

It had been a week since I did weights and I could feel the burn today! I am sure I will be sore tomorrow. The running still kicks my butt sometimes, but I try to press through it. The elliptical now seems like a walk in the park compared to running. I upped my resistance on the elliptical to b/w 6-8 this time and was on an incline of 9-16 and really wasn't sweating at the end much, compared to running where I am a pool of sweat.

My weight was up some over the weekend to 139, but is coming down now. Today has been a very controlled day of eating and I am choosing the healthy, natural thing over the non healthy/ processed so far.

Hope you all have a good week and will challenge yourselves to push yourself higher in someway this week. You are stronger than you think!!

Nice workout! Thanks for the challenge. I'll have to think of a way to push myself this week. Maybe when I get on the treadmill today! Have a great week!

Woo hoo! You really know how to put "it" into "L" and leap into those workouts. Exemplary! I promise to think of you during my next outdoor walk. I plan to put a few jogs in the mix - just to pick it up a notch - not many - just a few - easy does it. But - hey - a challenge is a challenge - right? You are right about the elliptical. Somehow machines just do not seem like "real live" exercise sometimes!

Yes, it was a good day thanks. You seem to have done your homework with the exercise and are doing a good job at controlling your eating. Keep it up!
