So its been an 'slower-than-I-expected' Saturday. Its a good and a bad thing I guess.

Good news is: I took the day off from exercising, and sat around doing NOTHING but help my mom, watch movies with her, and read all day. Usually I would have gotten bored and overate, but so far, I have stayed on track. YAY!
I planned out dinner- I was going to have a mini pizza, but I had steak fajitas salad with tostitos chips instead. Saving the pizza for tomorrow

Bad news is: Today wasnt very productive.

I was supposed to get a driving lesson from my mom, and go run errands, but we didnt get out til around 6.

I would normally take the car and go out to run errands without any problems.

Buuuuuuutttttttt! our automatic car is in the shop and all we have is my dad's manual, which i only know how to drive half-ass and still need practice with because in the whole TWO YEARS that i have had a driver's license, they have not taught me how to drive a stick-shift car!
I guess you could say they have had almost 4 years to teach me, since i had my permit just before i turned 16.

Every weekend since then they have been telling me they will teach me. Hasnt happened.
Ugggghhhh. How frustrating.
Didnt get that driving lesson but she did drive me to the store. Nice.

Anyways, I ordered a Turbo Jam DVD from ebay and I got it yesterday. Yay!
Hoping to try it tomorrow, or I might just go running and try Turbo Jam on monday.

I'm not sure, but it may be a good thing not to be so productive on weekends. When you do get going with the manual car, stick shifts are particularly difficult on hills so *try* to be careful not to get into a situation where, before you can get the clutch working, you slide back down the hill and crash into the car behind you. The hand brake can come in handy there.
