You sound more upbeat, so that is wonderful. I am visiting family, so the diet is sort of up for grabs. Trying to be good.

I am not going to say that hearing about the professional hockey player that collapsed on the bench and needed to be zapped did not scare me. He had been being treated for an irregular heartbeat. They told him he could resume his normal activities too... But I have decided I cannot live my life in fear that my husband is going to drop dead. Only God knows when Dave's time is up on this earth. I hope that I have many more years with him...but it is God's time...not mine. So I am going to try not to worry as much and let life take the path it needs to. I need to keep losing so I am here for my husband and family too. That means I have to put forth the effort to make that loss happen.

You are so right on all counts, tho hard to accept the fact that one cannot worry--even if you know it intellectually. Put all that energy into positive vibes for both of you. We are all thinking about you and your family.

Sounds like it's just a little hiccup, though I know that while that's ez to say it can be hard to accept & treat it as such. Is your hubby a hockey player? Or does he have heart problems? Sorry, I'm just wondering. I agree that we can't know when anyone's time will come, & worrying won't help at all, but can hurt us physically & emotionally if we let it control us. Thinking about being there for & enjoying your husband & family is very good, & staying healthy for them including losing weight is an important part of that. Wishing you blessings & continued success.
