lesmstsbk0305's Journal, 17 February 2009

Ok so after my mental break down tonight I thought I did pretty well at least for me. I actually ate all three meals today. So that's a start and not as many unhealthy snacks.

This progress is slow and so i think that's what made me so panicy (if that is even a word) earlier this afternoon. I miss the old me. Ok I know I am the same person inside. But my body is inhabiting my ablity to do the things I love. Some days it's hard just to get up and that alone takes all my energy. I remember days when Hubby and I could go out dancing all night. Now by the time one fast song is over I am done.

I know the reasons I am doing this might be strange to some. People all the time are telling me don't just do it to start having kids. THat is not my only reason for doing this as I just stated. But having kids is my biggest reason as well as my biggest motivator. It may not make sense to most but it makes sense to me.

Hey, congratulations on eating your three meals! Snacks are the hardest... I sit at my desk all day and eat out of boredom. It might be demotivating to start with because the progress is low, but keep at it. I read this brilliant 'mantra' in a diet book (of which I never actually stuck to, I just liked the psychology part!)which is 'you will never be as big as you are today'. Stick with it, you might not be able to see the changes but they are happenning! Good Luck!
