I'm finding as I approach the end of the weight loss portion of my eating that this site is more and more important to me. I find I'm spending a lot of time here. It's encouraging to know others are working at it too and that I'm not alone. It's right at this point, right on the edge of what I wanted that I found it most easy to want to say "It's just a couple of pounds. Why worry about it?" But that would be giving in to my weaker self. I will not do that. He got me into my original mess.

I want to thank everyone here for your support. Sometimes it's direct. Sometimes it is indirect through a comment or a bit of humour on your own, or someone else's journal. It has made persistence far easier for me.

NM, I'm so glad that we of the Peanut Gallery have made it easier for you to endure what has turned out to be LESS than a week! Look at your weight loss chart: It looks like a stock market chart for a company whose financials are going down the tubes, just as it should! Keep it up for this last big push before you bulk up, cut down, carb load, get ripped or whatever buzz phrase best describes what is next for you. Sorry that I cannot keep track. :) You've done this amazing thing all on your own and your body clearly loves this plan. Almost 10 pounds in a month is awesome. You're an inspiration to us all.

Awww! Well.... I hope that when I get to the point that you are at, that I can continue on with the same dedication, willpower, and persistence that you have right now! For me every day is a challenge, and fatsecret has been my crutch. surely without the buddies on this site I wouldnt have made it to the end of week one. YOU are inspiring me and I am sure many others to keep at it. So thank you!!! I cant wait to see you reach all your goals :)

Thanks, Jess. I'll still be here. I plan on using fatsecret to log my calories for the next phase of my journey. I'm making good friends here. I can't ignore that, and I am unwilling to lose you guys. Besides. Most of you are like me. Just a little 'off'. :D
