I have been following my diet pretty strict. I have not gone over my calories as of yet... I also have not had any significant appetite, so eating isn't really at the top of my list. I was craving sugar, so I just had 2 peanut butter cups and boy are they sweeter than I remember!

For the past month or so, I have been having a lot of neck problems, and once my neck starts aching, usually early in the day, the migraines come on... some days I can tolerate them other days, like today, they are so brutal that I throw up, get motion sickness, weak, etc. I had an X-ray on my neck a few days ago and evidently there is no trauma showing on the X-ray... so now they want me to see a neurologist.. I am a little nervous about that, so I decided to try going back to my chiropractor and seeing if he can help before I start turning myself into a guinea pig. A few years back I was in a bad car accident, and I injured my jaw and neck and I had a series of cervical epidurals in my neck... they alleviated the pain for quite some time, so maybe that may be an option.. being that I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, I am more likely to develop arthritis is joints, especially ones that have had traumatic injuries... my jaw was bad right after the accident, I could barely open my mouth, couldn't chew, etc. I had surgery a year after and it was great.. until early last year when the pain started.. I ended up having to have another surgery on my jaw, they went in and removed the disc, but were not expecting the damage they saw in that joint...

Anyway, enough about my problems! I have to say that I am very happy with my progress thus far. Since I started fat secret on Jan 18th, I have lost 8.5 pounds.. so in my book, that is pretty good for about 2 weeks. Not being able to eat has been an added bonus, I am just worrying that if I start being able to eat without getting sick, than I will stop seeing results. I have not been very good about exercising this week, like I had originally planned, but who wants to exercise with a migraine... I am at my lowest weight in a year!! I can't wait to make it to 239 pounds.. it just sounds so much better than 240... and I am getting closer and closer to that number!!! Hoping for a better week with no headaches so I can hit the gym! I really need a good workout!

Hi Melissa7802! As much as I dislike going to doctors for check ups, etc., you should really prioritize having your neck checked out. I'm glad that you are not allowing the pain you are feeling to affect your drive but better to be safe than sorry, right? =)
