Dammit to hell and halfway back! I violated my "no artificial sweeteners" rule. Damn damn damn.
That's what I get for buying a product rather than food, I guess. I bought some Dreyers Fruit Bars. They're popsicles... they can't possibly be full of artificial sweeteners, right? Wrong. Splenda.
In my defense, I needed them for a photo shoot. Still, I bought something that looked tasty. And OK, I've only eaten two of them. It's not the end of the world. Still, I'm annoyed that I broke one of the principal rules of my diet.

Maybe just think about how much LESS artificial crap you've imbibed in the last few months and be proud of that? Rome, so I hear, wasn't built in a day. No one can be constantly vigilant, particularly when it comes to all these sneaky additives and so forth.

I'm actually not beating myself up except for having dropped my vigilance. I pretty much never buy stuff in packages without reading the label first, but this time I did.
Oh, and I've never done artificial sweeteners. I think they're gross.
