I lost 2 lbs the first day of phase one and haven't dropped an ounce since. I am on Day 5. That is VERY frustrating. I usually drop about 7 or 8 lbs. on phase 1. Ugh! I won't give up. I just wish I could resist the darn scale. So frustrating!

Two pounds is 5 days is very good. When you lose big, it's usually because you have a lot of water weight. You might not have as much water this time. So you may lose less, but you will lose the fat. If you lose too much each week, you also lose muscle and it's the muscle that we need to look lean and burn calories. You are doing fine. Each time we diet is different from others. Good luck!

What nice (and TRUE) comments from Suzi161. I am in the same space as you -- 12 days and only 2 lbs! But, I am very hopeful and I intend to stick with it. I am very FRUSTRATED also. Hang in there. We can do this. I keep entering my food (truthfully), and I will HAVE to see some results at some point, because the calories are pretty low. So -- stay with it. You WILL prevail.

Remember to look at your total weekly loss, not your total 5 day loss. If you're like me, and some others here, it comes off in clumps like that. You know the drill, don't cheat, stay true and you'll see the kind of losses that result from not cheating. You can do it.

Thank you all. I feel stronger, and leaner so far. So I will keep on trucking, and hopefully step on the scale soon and see a bigger loss! Hope you all have a great weekend!!
